To devise solutions to the world’s most complex challenges such as pandemics and climate change, there must be new ways of thinking that combine art, technology, and science to expand our creativity and augment our insight. That creativity, however, must be combined with the ability to execute. This type of thinking is what Ottino and Mau refer to as “Nexus thinking.”
